Why does the truth hurt,
Or does it hurt at all,
Do we create the pain ourselves,
To offset what is ‘true’,
The truth can be accepted,
And then we can move on,
Or we can let it linger,
And fight it with of all,
If the truth is the truth,
And is not a lie,
Why do we create a lie,
Inside of minds,
When truth itself,
Is what we shall find
