What is an addiction?
And are all addictions bad?
Does it have to be external?
Or is it all internal?
Are we addicted to a ‘thing’,
Or just the frame of mind,
Addicted to its feeling,
Searching for the origin,
Each and everything,
Some cost us our lives,
And others lose their wives,
Some will lose it all,
And some nothing at all,
Why do we become addicted,
Is it something we all share,
Or is it something that consumes us,
And we never notice or even care?
