we are the same humans today
that we were thousands of years ago
needing: food, water, air and shelter
everywhere we go
these rules haven't changed
but somehow
part of us has
we strive to out-do one another
for selfish pleasures
from our fellow sisters and brothers
yet we are still the same
generation after generation
the gene pool multiplied
a complex mathematical equation
that started with the original one
do you not see?
