as we came close
face to face
looking deep
deep into one anothers gaze
my mind was erased
not the slightest thought
she moved in closer
our hearts touched
i took a deep breath
she did the same
calmness overwhelmed me
feelings...not of the brain
she wrapped her arms around me
i felt her loving embrace
her lips touching my own
i forgot i was there
for those moments
i didn't have a care
seconds become hours
emotionally lost
kissing those lips
so gentle
so soft
