the leaves are a changing
some have hit the ground
red, yellows, browns
colors are WOW!
people dont seem to notice
change that takes place
shedding of a trees leaves
just like skin cells we change
it has to happen
we must rid of the old
to make way for the new
do trees shiver?
do trees shake?
do they beg for water?
what will it take?
......when the last tree falls
you stand by and watch
or will you be planting seeds
....so life itself
can go on
